Health & Safety Assistant

Our current H&S Officer is taking a step back, and we are looking for someone to fill the gap. This part-time role (approx. 20 hours) will be based in our central Auckland Office.

Key Summary of Responsibilities

  • Promoting band championing health, safety, and wellbeing as a key part of Studio DB culture.
  • Add new projects to BWARE.
  • Complete SSSPs for sites
  • Upload Site information to Procore
  • Maintain contractors and continue with implementation of new contractor package
  • Monitor forms and maintain BWARE library
  • Update Templates on BWARE as required.
  • Set agenda, chair, and minute weekly meetings with the Projects Team.


  • Experienced or willing to learn BWARE.
  • Experience or willing to learn Procore.
  • Experience in construction site management.
  • Site Safe certification(s) and awareness of H&S requirements
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office software, and an understanding of, or willingness to learn, Microsoft Project, Procore, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to plan and manage time effectively.
