Studio DB was delighted to support Auckland Community Law Centre (ACLC) in expanding their existing office space, reinforcing their vital mission of providing accessible legal services to the community. As New Zealand’s oldest community law center, ACLC serves over 3,000 people annually, and this project was designed to enhance their ability to deliver legal casework, education, and outreach services effectively.
The expansion into the adjoining tenancy allowed for a more functional and welcoming environment, fostering a sense of community and whānau. The project included Design interior construction, furnishing, and fit-out, with a focus on spatial design, security, acoustic wall treatments, lighting, breakout spaces, and a refreshed kitchenette.
