Dialog Fitzroy partnered with Studio DB to deliver a workplace that reflects their strong team culture and regional identity. Designed to be both professional and welcoming, the space combines durable materials with warm finishes and subtle brand touches, including teal accents that reinforce Dialog’s identity. Delivered under Studio DB’s Futureproof approach, the project was carefully coordinated from the ground up and executed within a defined budget and accelerated programme, ensuring both efficiency and quality were maintained throughout. The result is a high-performing, future-focused environment that supports collaboration, wellbeing, and day-to-day functionality.

Dialog Fitzroy collaborated with Studio DB to create a workplace that reflects their people-first culture and long-standing reputation in engineering and construction. The brief called for an environment that is both practical and professional, while creating a strong sense of pride and belonging for the team. The design response delivers a warm and welcoming workplace, grounded in durable materials, clean detailing, and subtle expressions of the Dialog brand.
At the outset, Studio DB worked closely with staff and stakeholders to understand operational needs, team dynamics, and future growth. This informed a workplace strategy that balances open plan workstations with private offices, focus rooms, and a range of meeting settings, supporting both collaboration and concentration. Dedicated spaces such as phone pods, stand-up meeting zones, and whiteboard areas encourage knowledge sharing and day-to-day interaction.
Aligned with Studio DB’s Futureproof pillar, the project was driven from concept through to delivery with full coordination of construction from the ground up. This included the off-site construction of key exterior elements, which were then transported and installed on site, significantly reducing build time and maximising programme efficiency. This integrated approach ensured a streamlined delivery while maintaining quality and consistency across every stage of the project.

A key feature of the design is the connection to outdoor space, including a breakout area with BBQ and pergola, reinforcing team culture and providing opportunities for informal connection. Green spaces and planting further enhance wellbeing and bring a sense of balance to the workplace.
Materiality plays a central role in expressing Dialog Fitzroy’s identity. A palette of neutral tones is paired with robust finishes such as timber-look flooring, classic oak joinery, and black detailing, creating a grounded and cohesive environment. Teal accents, aligned with Dialog’s branding, are introduced through feature walls, flooring transitions, and upholstery, adding energy and visual identity throughout the space.
Sustainability and efficiency were key considerations throughout, with a pragmatic approach taken to ensure longevity and performance. The result is a workplace that supports the day-to-day demands of the business while fostering connection, pride, and a strong sense of team.
