100% New Zealand owned, Intercity (Entrada Travel Group) are one of the leading travel companies who pride themselves on providing memorable travel experiences for all the people who wish to explore authentic New Zealand, Australia and around. The company aims to offer top quality services with seamless passenger transportation both on land and water.

The brief was clear: A well thought Modern Office Environment that would help the employees deliver top quality service. DB provided a bespoke office design that focused on inspiration, collaboration and employee wellness. With the office relocation, they got the opportunity to echo their personality and work ethics while creating a positive work environment.
Working closely with the team, we understood their core visions and how the space would communicate their thoughts leading to a positive impact on their business. A cool-toned colour palette was proposed – Pops of blue and green paints integrate with natural elements like lush floors and cork-look finishes creating a refreshing vibe. Numerous working zones were designed keeping in mind employee focus and productivity. A breakfast bar and various meeting booths give the employees enough space to break out from their work zones and relax while office bumping and creating an opportunity for what we call the hallway chat.

A stunning panorama extracted from a beautiful landscape in New Zealand has been a point of focus in the area. Natural light is maximized in this office space through a strategic open plan working with minimal solid partitions. Instead, the glass and curtain partitions were used to maximize the natural light. Elements of nature are highly echoed in this office space: the use of staggered potted plants, tabletop planters and dividers help introducing a fresh, wholesome vibe to the space that further enhances the employees’ moods. Biophilic Design and Community Collaboration are the heart of the design process that subtly satisfies the brief and bespoke services provided.
