Salesforce Auckland strategically resides in the bustling heart of Auckland's central business district, marking a collaborative effort led by Studio DB. In this transformative project, Studio DB played an essential role, extending beyond conventional services. Studio DB’s role in the project went beyond the normal; working with the landlord to co-ordinate stakeholders and to deliver an integrated, end-to-end design and delivery solution that was fit for purpose.
From initial concept to completion and every step inbetween, our approach involved thorough attention to fine details, all while staying true to the project’s initial vision. The result is a successful endeavour that not only delivers to timelines and budget, but also reflects a harmonious blend of expertise between the various disciplines.
With panoramic views of Auckland Harbour and the Hauraki Gulf, the space serves as a central hub for connection and learning, embodying the core values and culture of Salesforce. This collaboration acts as a purpose-built environment for employees, customers, partners, and local communities across New Zealand.
Designed with modern work in mind and with a clear intention to unlock growth opportunities for Salesforce globally and specifically in New Zealand, this workspace seamlessly adheres to modern worktrends. Crafted with healthy and sustainable materials, the office showcases acommitment to environmental responsibility, resonating with the distinctive look and feel of Salesforce’s global design standards. These detailed standards are underscored by Salesforce’s commitment to sustainability and health in its built environments. All materials within the fitout were evaluated based on Health, Carbon, Circularity, Resource Efficiency, and Social & Governance criteria. Studio DB played a key role by co-ordinating and applying repurposed furniture and materials from Salesforce’s Australian offices, showcasing resource efficiency and dedication to environmentally responsible and socially consciousspaces.
Spanning 950 square meters, the environment offers flexibility and choice for employees. The layout, featuring a blend of collaborative and communal areas alongside dedicated spaces for focused work, accommodates diverse work preferences. Housing 76 workstations, enclosed meeting rooms, open collaboration zones, and versatile social and event spaces,the design caters to the multifaceted needs of the local Salesforce community.
