Springer Nature partnered with Studio DB about 3 years prior to the end of their lease to reduce overheat, and to split their floor so they could sublease their space. Whilst doing this, we had a chance to trial a new way of working prior to committing to a long lease. Having found that working a more collaborative approach worked, it was important to understand how we could make this even better with the new space.
Working with the team at Studio DB and their staff, we understood that our new way of working needed to facilitate and enhance the social connection. With this in mind, our focus was to ensure that the breakout spaces and collaborative spaces were incorporated throughout the fit-out to ensure we ‘earned the commute.‘
