Studio DB partnered with a major banking service to relocate and transform their branch into a modern, community-focused banking space. The new design reflects the unique character of the firm, offering a welcoming and secure environment that supports both personal and business banking needs.
The relocation marks a new chapter in delivering accessible, high-quality banking services. Studio DB worked closely with the client to design a space that blends functionality with local identity, creating an environment that is practical, inviting and secure.
Security was a key priority throughout the design process. The branch features secure entry doors that provide peace of mind for customers accessing banking services after hours. A custom secure room divider enhances privacy and safety within the space, while internal meeting rooms located outside the main banking area offer discreet zones for consultations and business support.
The branch includes a considered mix of open service areas and flexible meeting zones. Natural materials layered lighting and bespoke finishes evoke a sense of warmth and trust. Spatial planning ensures the branch can cater to a wide range of needs, from everyday banking to community engagement.
The brand values guided every design decision. Studio DB translated these into a physical space that celebrates the spirit of the region, drawing inspiration from the region’s people and culture. With a focus on innovation, inclusivity and local relevance, this bank sets a new benchmark for regional banking in New Zealand.
